We hoped to portray a natural, organic mood with this editorial. The detailed landscape of a local Texas pecan tree orchard was the perfect setting for natural ambiance. The model wore a soft, neutral-toned two-piece dress that complimented the warm tones of the landscape and the florals. The wildflower-inspired blooms reflected the relaxed atmosphere that's portrayed in the editorial. Nothing says summer like a Texas peach, so we incorporated them into the vignettes. The crisp, raw portrayal is a look that viewers can identify with, and is effortlessly beautiful.

About eight or nine years ago, I met Ellie at Laity Lodge Youth Camp. We were both summer camp counselors and I remember being so excited when I found out that she was going to the University of Texas too! She has been such a special friend to me. She is full of life, so generous, caring, and compassionate. I love being around Ellie and I know that everyone she spends time with feels so loved and cared for by her.
I am so excited for Ellie and Daniel to get married. It was such a treat to spend a couple hours with them taking photos at Peacock Park near Laguna Gloria in Austin, TX. Even though it was an overcast, gloomy day, they were radiant together. Go Ellie and Daniel!
This wedding was so fun. The bride was laughing with joy throughout the whole ceremony, the guests were dancing on the stage, Maddy and Devin crowd surfed (multiple times), there was a trolley to shuttle the wedding party to the ceremony, and to top it off there were doughnuts and White Russians at the exit. Maddy and Devin are full of life, are faithful friends and love a lot of people, which was evidenced by the spirit of the wedding. I am so excited for this power couple to be married and excited to watch your lives and influence continue to grow.

This shoot was particularly sweet and special. Erica's husband had taken note that she wanted a bridal shoot that she never had. For her birthday this year, along with many other great surprises, he planned for her to have her bridals done, years after their wedding. Adam tagged along and we were able to take some set pictures of them as a couple and beautiful Erica, who is still killing it in her dress. (I'm impressed!)
What a treat it was to spend an evening with Paul and Mandy. These two are so intentional and caring, it is beautiful to watch them together. I admire their tenderness and thoughtfulness and felt refreshed after an evening with them. Thankful to know them and excited for their marriage and all the fruit it will bear!
